2nd Hatch End Brownies had a festive time
Bright and early on Sunday 3rd December, 22 Brownies from 2nd Hatch End were stood outside of Pinner station ready for a day of fun in London.
After the journey to Green Park station, we took a walk through the park and spent a few minutes showing Buckingham Palace and taking some photos! Given it is just minutes away from ICANDO, it’s an essential and easy stop before or after a visit there.
We were welcomed into ICANDO for their ‘Christmas Extravaganza’ Event and met a few other Brownie units too. The staff had prepared all the sessions and were well organised with the logistics of the morning. The Brownies had a wonderful time creating Gonks, Christmas cards, edible chocolate penguins and sock snowmen filled with rice! They also had a session during the day where they could visit the shop.
It was the first time we’d joined an activity session at ICANDO and we’d definitely return for another event in future!
To end the day, we had a lovely lunch at Pizza Express where the restaurant provided a kids menu for the Brownies and then we passed Parliament before making our way back home.
